Data Engineer

Natron is seeking a data engineer to lead and assist projects for the development of data management, analysis, and visualization tools for data sets generated from designed experiments, containing electrochemical and physical data of battery materials, components, cells, modules and packs. The person in this position will work in a small team of engineers that is responsible for the collection, management, analysis, and distribution of all of the battery manufacturing and test data Natron generates. This person will lead the development and maintenance of existing database systems (SQL) and data-analysis codebases (Python, etc.). Qualified candidates have prior industrial or significant prior academic experience writing, implementing, and maintaining robust, scalable code systems, as well as initial set up, configuration, and maintenance of database software and infrastructure.

Senior Facilities Manager

Natron is recruiting a Senior Facilities Manager to lead and support its Santa Clara operations. The primary responsibility for this person will be to lead, manage, and support projects in Facilities for construction, tenant improvements, and equipment installation, maintenance, and replacement. Strong applicants have significant prior experience and a proven track record for leading and executing facilities projects from start to finish.

Program Manager

Natron seeks a Program Manager to lead the New Product Introduction (NPI) process for fully integrated battery systems, based Natron’s proprietary cell technology. The Program Manager will work closely with, and coordinate activities of, Marketing, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing. Activities to be coordinated include leading the definition of new products in customer terms, translation of applicable industry standards and customer requirements into product specifications, development and management of program schedules to meet customer delivery targets and company goals, and coordination of project teams to meet specifications and timelines. Strong candidates have prior program management experience in the field of batteries or other electronic hardware systems resulting in >1 million units shipped.

Production Control Manager

Natron seeks a Production Control Manager to lead the establishment and ongoing operation of its enterprise resource planning, production control, and logistics functions within its pilot operations in Santa Clara and with its contract manufacturers around the world. The program manager will manage the supply chain by working closely with internal pilot operations, contract manufacturers, product development and sales teams to plan and schedule production runs to meet customer orders and pilot runs to serve product development objectives. Initially, this position will be hands-on in establishing systems and business practices for shipping and receiving, inventory management, production scheduling, forecasting, and materials purchasing.

Senior Electronics Engineer

Natron is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to support the full product cycle of its high-power battery systems for Data Center UPS and EV charging applications. The occupant of this position will work in a team of engineers to solve technical challenges associated with our energy storage products from initial prototyping to volume manufacturing.  He or she will design, test, and validate power electronics boards, battery module configurations, power protection circuits, and battery management systems.  This person will focus on system level design and integration of battery modules and electrical components within battery packs and customer end products.  This position requires extensive hands-on work and a do-whatever-it-takes attitude to get the job done.

Systems Engineer

Natron seeks a Systems Engineer with experience in battery and high-power systems, preferably un-interruptable power systems (UPS). The occupant of this position will work in a team of engineers to solve technical challenges associated with the design and implementation of our energy storage products targeted to end application systems. He or she will be involved in the specification, design, and test of our batteries. This person will focus on system-level design and integration of battery modules and components within battery packs and customer end products. This position requires extensive hands-on work and a do-whatever-it-takes attitude to get the job done.

Senior Mechanical Engineer

Natron is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design and development of its high-power battery systems for Data Center UPS and EV charging applications. The occupant of this position will work in a team of engineers to solve technical challenges including the conception and creation of new designs that maximize electrical, thermal, and mechanical performance while maintaining manufacturability. He or she will also execute prototyping projects including building and testing battery packs and racks. This person is a passionate, creative, goal-oriented engineer who is comfortable with developing new concepts and designs.
