Program Manager

Natron seeks a Program Manager to lead the New Product Introduction (NPI) process for fully integrated battery systems, based Natron’s proprietary cell technology. The Program Manager will work closely with, and coordinate activities of, Marketing, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing. Activities to be coordinated include leading the definition of new products in customer terms, translation of applicable industry standards and customer requirements into product specifications, development and management of program schedules to meet customer delivery targets and company goals, and coordination of project teams to meet specifications and timelines. Strong candidates have prior program management experience in the field of batteries or other electronic hardware systems resulting in >1 million units shipped.

Senior Electronics Engineer

Natron is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to support the full product cycle of its high-power battery systems for Data Center UPS and EV charging applications. The occupant of this position will work in a team of engineers to solve technical challenges associated with our energy storage products from initial prototyping to volume manufacturing.  He or she will design, test, and validate power electronics boards, battery module configurations, power protection circuits, and battery management systems.  This person will focus on system level design and integration of battery modules and electrical components within battery packs and customer end products.  This position requires extensive hands-on work and a do-whatever-it-takes attitude to get the job done.

Senior Scientist/ Engineer – Electrode Formulation

Natron seeks a skilled, scientific-minded with 5+ years of industrial experience to lead and execute projects related to novel battery electrodes including development of slurry formulations, mixing methodologies, and coating processes.  The position belongs to a passionate and diverse Technology team and involves close collaboration with Manufacturing counterparts in all facets of technology handoff for successful scale-up production.  The candidate should possess solid prior involvement in taking ideas from proof-of concept to feasibility stages and ultimate commercialization of novel battery electrodes. While the role requires extensive hands-on work, it equally relies on fundamental and theoretical knowledge in multitude of scientific disciplines.  Ideal candidate is a hard-working, team-work oriented, creative, and self-motivated.  He or she must hold a Master of Science degree in chemical engineering, materials science, applied physics, or related fields.

Staff Mechanical Engineer

Natron is seeking a Staff Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design and development of its high-power battery systems for Data Center UPS and EV charging applications.  The occupant of this position will work in a team of engineers to solve technical challenges including the conception and creation of new designs that maximize electrical, thermal, and mechanical performance while maintaining manufacturability.  He or she will also execute prototyping projects including building and testing battery packs and racks.  This person is a passionate, creative, goal-oriented engineer who is comfortable with developing new concepts and designs.  They are capable of providing guidance to less experienced team members.  This position requires extensive hands-on work and a do-whatever-it-takes attitude to get the job done.

Senior Electronics Technician

Natron is seeking a Senior Electronics Technician to assist in the assembly and testing of our battery management system (BMS) and battery packs.  Qualifed candidates have significant experience working with electronic control boards, power electronics boards, batteries, and both low and high voltage power systems.  In this position, he or she will assemble electronic components and systems, perform functional and performance testing, and work with the engineering team to debug after failed tests.  The person for this position is detailed oriented, interested in learning and mastering new skills, and has a team-first attitude.  He or she will be working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Battery Assembly Technician

Natron is seeking a Battery Assembly Technician to join our production group to support battery product assembly and testing. The person in this position will assemble components into battery modules and products on the company’s pilot line, perform quality control checks of battery packs, configure and perform validation tests, and log the resulting data data. Qualified applicants have prior hands on experience performing hardware device assembly experience, preferably for battery modules or packs. This position requires hands on mechanical and electrical assembly work using instruments such as ultrasonic welders.
