Senior Reliability Engineer

Natron seeks a Renior Reliability Engineer to assist in the development of battery cells and battery packs. The Reliability Engineer will be an integral part of the design process and is expected to participate in design reviews, perform fault-tree analyses and FMEAs, and generate and execute validation test plans. This position is part of our product engineering team and its occupant will continuously collaborate with our design engineering staff to develop next-generation products. The person for this position is a passionate, creative, self-motivated, self- sufficient reliability engineer who is comfortable with presenting theories and challenging engineers on their designs.

Business Development Intern

Natron is seeking one or more candidates for business development summer internships. Intern projects will include market and customer research, manufacturing and cost modeling, and business model validation. The goal of these projects will be to determine the strategy and resources needed to bring Natron’s batteries to market for selected applications given Natron’s battery specs, customer/application requirements, future competitors, and the key industry players.

Ideal candidates are creative, self-motivated problem solvers who have prior experience performing market research and defining a commercialization strategy, as well as some prior knowledge of clean energy technologies. Strong performers will be considered for permanent employment at Natron.

Electrical Engineering Intern

Natron is seeking an intern with an Electrical Engineering background to help design battery management and sensor based control systems. The occupant of this position will assist in designing PCB layouts, embedded analog and digital circuits, governing firmware, and communication protocols. This is a hands-on position with exposure to every step of development from design to product integration.

Battery Engineering Intern

Natron is seeking one or more summer interns for battery engineering projects. These projects will include materials synthesis and processing, fabrication of battery electrodes and cells, cell testing and modeling, and the prototyping of new cell designs. Interns will be selected for projects requiring skill sets matching their general backgrounds (chemistry/materials, mechanical engineering, electrochemistry, etc.).
